First of Many Ramblings

Hey welcome to my blog which will generally consist of me reviewing (and rambling) about TV Shows and Wrestling, much like the great Scott Keith. Ok so my first review will consist of stuff i've seen this week.

Life on Mars (US Version)

Having already seen the UK version i was bound to compare the two. This first episode was basically the exact same as the British one, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. I hope that like The Office it grows into it's own show and perhaps becomes better than the original, which some will argue it has done. Harvey Keitel as Gene Hunt is a stroke of genius and should take this series onto big things.

Little Britain USA

I hated the last season of the British one and this is just basically a continuation of that. The characters aren't funny in the sliughtest and the jokes seem very forced. Walliams and Lucas are now resting on their reputaitions in the UK and if a seconde series gets commisioned ill eat my proverbial hat.

---------TNA Bound for Gimmicks---------

Okay now onto some wrestling stuff. TNA's big PPV of the year Bound for Glory is this Sunday and i'll check it out. Having not watched much of TNA recently im looking forward to this sort of. the matches don;t inspire much confidience though and does anyone really want to see Sting get another title run?

----------No Mercy-----------

I enjoyed No Mercy like a lot of people did. The Ladder match and HHH vs Hardy saved it and to a certain extent Show vs Undertaker. The undercard was pretty poor and i really hope Henry disappears out of the ECW title picture and be replaced by their numerous young stars like Morrison, Miz, Bourne or even Ricky fuckin' Ortiz. He's umdefeatd dontcha' know. The fact that the US, Intercontinental and Tag Titles are hardly ever defended really annoys me and brings down any prestige they have, really WWE have to Unify some titles. Anyway i give this show a 7.5/10 as it entertained me alot.

PS. Oasis' new album fuckin' rocks and i recommend everyone to purchase it. The album is called Dig Out Your Soul and should be availible form all good music stores.
